The Roots Project
Through strategic partnerships with churches across the country we will encourage the culture to embrace the heart of adoption, placing children in a place of acceptance and community, giving them a family and a sense of belonging that they so desperately need.
The Covering is a 24/7 orphan care facility to 100+ children living in Freetown Sierra Leone. The COVERING is a safe place for children to live while waiting for their permanent families via; reunification, in country adoption or international forever family placement. 60 staff are employed at the center including; pastors, caregivers, cooks, housekeeping, security, social workers, and medical and therapeutic staff. The covering serves as a safe haven where children are loved, protected, nurtured, and discipled. The goal of The Covering is restoration for each child and building a secure hope for their future.
